The nurse practitioner noticed something on his left side abdomen and immediately referred Dax to Scottish Rite for an X-Ray. This X-Ray showed a large mass taking up the whole left side of his abdominal area. Dax was sent to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta-Scottish Rite for further test and evaluation where a CT scan showed a tumor and lesions on his liver. Dax was admitted to the AFLAC (cancer and blood disorders) floor at Scottish Rite.
